Archival Overview

Gailan’s work explores the idea of personal narrative, the tension of intimacy, and the idea of reality in flux. Moving past just hanging images on walls, Gailan has recently started working with the idea of installation art. He invites his viewer to enter into his psychological space through use of lighting, a voyeuristic viewpoint in his photographs, and earthworks.
